A sweet Father's Day

Last night was emotional as we left the hospital without Eydie, but we both also had peace because she has improved so much in just a few days and we will be able to bring home a healthy girl soon. Before we left the hospital, I left this onesie with the nurses without Brandon knowing so this is how Eydie greeted us when we got there this morning. She looked so sweet!

I also had to include pictures of Eydie with her grandparents. They have given her lots of love!

We are so proud of our little girl and thankful to God for sharing her with us and allowing us to be her parents. I still can't believe she's ours and we actually get to keep her. We are in love.

Thank you Brandon for your loving care of Kate and Eydie. I love that you are strong and tender and that as a father you are relying on God. Kate, I've seen your rock solid faith supporting your calm nurturing presence as a mother. She's a blessed little girl to have a mother like you. I love you the way that you love Eydie right now.

I bought that same onesie for Jude and gave it to Chris yesterday. It's so cute. I can't wait for you to take her home. I can't imagine leaving the hospital without my baby. Love you all!

What sweet pictures! Eydie is a an absolute doll! I love pics with grandparents and your family picture is such a treasure. Been thinking about you guys and praying for you so much. I know it is so hard and unnatural to leave your little baby at the hospital but I am thankful she has continued to do well and will soon be home. Hang in there and know we are praying for all of you!

Happy Father's Day Brandon! From all I've heard, you are one amazing father already. May God continue to give you strength as you care for your girls. You all look great together! Glad she is doing well--she is absolutely beautiful and looks so healthy and happy. Praying for and waiting for Thursday and the pictures of her in her little crib at home :) You all are in our prayers. I pray God's strength for you daily as you go back and forth from the hospital this week and peace as you rest at night. Praising God for precious Eydie Paige today!

Oh Kate, she is so beautiful! I'm so thankful for the family room!! So happy she is doing so well. This is one of the first major "answered prayers" my Jack and Hayley have experienced. As hard as it has been for you guys (and continues to be each time you have to leave your precious one at the hospital) know that God is using her little life in such powerful ways. Jack and Hayley prayed as soon as we got the text right after you had her, and it makes me cry every time I show them the pictures of this perfect, healthy baby girl who is breathing on her own. We give ALL the glory to God who "breathed His life into her little lungs" just like we asked Him too. This testimony will affect the faith of my children for the rest of their lives! We will always be able to say, "Remember when we prayed for God to heal Eydie... and HE DID!!" And we're just one story of MANY little ones who prayed for your beautiful Eydie! Love you guys and look forward to seeing the pictures of her HOMECOMING!!! Doesn't it give you just a glimpse of how the Lord is anticipating ours??? :)
