This is Summer again. I got to peak in on Eydie this morning with Brandon after the oxygen halo was off. We caught her awake and squirmy. Look at that intense stare. Brandon leaned over to talk to her and she didn't look away. She just stared intently for at least a minute. It was a precious moment.
So glad to see a big yawn and a deep breath.

As Kate said in her earlier post, Eydie has been doing much better today. The overall mood at the hospital has been more peaceful and hopeful, a direct answer to all the prayers. Kate is recovering well, and they are getting to go to the NICU to spend time with Eydie whenever she can, which is great. They did finally get to hold her for the first time, but I don't have pictures on my camera. I'm sure Kate will post those soon. Kate is hoping to nurse for the first time tonight. Thank you so much for all of your prayers. Keep them coming. God is The Great Physician and we give Him all the glory for the healing that has taken place already, and pray for continued improvements in the next days and weeks!

She is beautiful. Glad to hear that she is already doing better. We love all of you VERY much. We will continue to pray for healing and strength for all of you. Can't wait to meet sweet Eydie. Love you guys!
It's so weird to see Brandon as a daddy!!!! I love it!! I just can't believe how beautiful she is. Well, not hard to believe...look at her parents. Eydie knew exactly who her daddy was! So special!!

What precious moments between Brandon and Eydie! You will look back on those pictures with such relief and sweet memories of her beginning! Still praying. Can't wait to see that precious girl in your arms :)
Eydie Paige is beautiful. I am thrilled that she is doing well and continuing to improve. What a gorgeous head of hair she has. You are blessed.
